Kenai River Regulations and Licensing
-
No guided king fishing on Sunday and Monday in May, June, July (except Memorial Day)
Remember: Sunday-Monday are ideal days for Halibut trips, Kenai trout, Kasilof kings, or flyouts. - One Kenai king per day, two per season
- Through June 30, kings must be less than 46" or larger than 55"
- License & king stamp required.
- King salmon season ends July 31.
- Sockeye limit 3 per day.
- Silver limit 2 per day in August, and 3 per day in September.
- Silver salmon season: Aug. 1st - Oct. 31st.
- No guided silver salmon fishing on Mondays in August or September
Kasilof River Regulations
- Two kings per day, up to 3 total from Kasilof per season.
- License & king stamp required.
- King salmon season ends July 31.
- Drift Boat fishing only
- No guided fishing on Sundays in July.
- Sockeye limit 3 & silver limit 2 per day

Saltwater Regulations
- License required.
- 2 halibut per day
- One king per day (king stamp required)
- 3 Coho per day in Cook Inlet
- 6 Coho per day within Resurrection Bay
- Up to 5 rockfish per day in Resurrection Bay
- 1 lingcod per day from July 1 in Resurrection Bay
- 2 lingcod per day from July 1 in Cook Inlet region
